Modutec B.V. was founded in 2010 by brothers Marco and Alexander Hazebroek. Electrical engineering was introduced at a young age. In their father's workshop the foundation was laid for a future in the world of electrical engineering. Setting up your own company in the electrical market was a natural next step.

Over the years, Modutec has steadily grown from a modest startup to a firmly established player in the industry, known for its reliability and excellent service quality.
Alex and Marco's interest in technology, and in particular electrical engineering, has been in Alex and Marco's genes since their youth. Alex and Marco have been building their knowledge in the field of electronics since 2011. The first charging stations are being installed and this means that maintenance and service must be carried out on the charging stations. In 2014, the brothers developed a quality control system for electrical installations.
In these years, the sale and installation of charging stations is starting to pick up steam. Laadpunt Nederland is the first independent party to start selling charging stations to consumers and companies. In order to maintain the charging stations efficiently and effectively, a planning tool is being developed in-house (Modutec Maps). In addition to developing a tool for planning an efficient route for the engineers, we are one of the first to test a V2G charger together with a partner (Mitsubishi).
Modutec specifically develops and focuses on the maintenance and service of charging stations and charging station installations. Modutec's new building will be completed in 2021. The building is designed for a sustainable future and equipped with solar panels, electric charging stations at every parking space and a heat pump.
